Eastlake (Cleveland) Ohio. National Consulting and Development Corporation (NCD) has entered into a partnering agreement with EDCO - The Document People, Inc. of Springfield, Missouri. The agreement will enable NCD to offer EDCO X-Ray film and record storage services (SecureStore) and enable EDCO to offer NCD’s image/data hosting services (e-WIX). This unique relationship provides medical facilities an opportunity to have X-Ray film physically stored in a highly secure and environmentally controlled underground storage facility with either same day electronic return delivery or next day physical return delivery. Electronic X-Ray images will be provided by digitizing hardcopy X-Ray film to Dicom format image which then will be delivered via e-mail to the facilities system or transferred to the e-WIX repository service where it would be available to authorized subscribers. This service is also available for documents/records as well, using the same process.

Both companies already do business in the healthcare industry and this partnership will allow them to expand service offerings in this market. NCD also operates NCD Medical Corporation and is a reseller of Radiology Diagnostic Systems. EDCO’s primary business is the conversion and storage of medical records. Together the NCD/EDCO partnership will provide the medical community leading edge solutions to accessing, managing and archiving critical healthcare information.
