Refurbishing Services

The NCD Medical refurbishing staff is equipped and trained by leading manufacturers to recondition most radiology diagnostic equipment. We use the same proven process for your equipment as we do for ours. When the equipment is brought into our Ohio facility it is inspected from top to bottom. We look for worn parts, bad cables, weak power, etc. We then replace any parts which appear excessively worn. Finally we retest, calibrate, clean and paint the unit. You have the option to replace older tubes, image intensifiers, batteries, etc.

The process, although extremely thorough, is generally less expensive than acquiring a replacement unit. We can provide you a written estimate after our initial inspection but prior to proceeding with work. Most units can be completed in 2-4 weeks, however, large projects and parts availability can slow down completion. We will keep you informed of the status of your equipment throughout the refurbishing process. Short term rental equipment may be available while your equipment is being refurbished.
